I've been to a lot of donair places and this is one of the best. Great varieties of donairs and Mr. Ben is a really nice guy. Fresh ingredients and your choice of beef, chicken or lamb. Mushroom beef would have to be my favourite, he uses beer when putting it together. Only gripe would be the long waits when there are more than 4-5 people in there. Other then that, this is my favourite place to grab a bite when it's late. Check this place out!!
I've been here twice now for late night AYCE. Food is pretty good, same selection as Richmond sushi but no wait! I like the new decor and the servers are pretty friendly. Only problem I've had is late night starts @ 9:30 but we were harassed for last call at 10:15. The restaurant is supposed to be open until 11 so that was a little bizarre. Other then that, a good all-you-can-eat in Burnaby.
Been to this restaurant a number of times, and will continue to go back. The ambiance can be a little loud since it is a small place and many families come here for dinner. If you have a larger group I'd recommend reservations. The food is excellent with real crab in their cali rolls, and good donburi bowls and box combos. I love how this place is owned by Japanese, which is reflected in their polite service. I always have a consistent experience when I come here. The only negative would be their prices are a little expensive for dinner, but otherwise a solid restaurant.
With other Japanese places getting much of the attention (Kirin, Kasuga), this little restaurant is the best in New West. I've been here a few times, and have always been surprised with the quality of food. Prices are on par with many other Japanese restaurants (or cheaper) and their rolls are very good. The decor is nice and new, and the service is generally friendly and on the ball. I'm not sure if it is Japanese-owned, but give this place a try if you're ever around Royal City Center.
I've been here a few times with friends to grab a bite to eat and maybe a drink or two. The food is always good-quality pubfare with some nice entrees as well (pastas, salads, steaks). They have drink & food specials as well.
The service is decent, they're sometimes a little slow with orders and not exceptionally friendly. Overall, this doesn't detract from an otherwise nice pub (with a pool table) to hang out with friends.
