We recently dropped in for dinner on a Friday night with another couple and luckily got the last open booth as the place was packed. The service and food was good, my wife was particularily happy with the veggie burger although I didn't pay much attention as I worked on a nice piece of salmon. I really enjoyed the mojitos with all the fresh mint leaves...delicious.All and all, a fun dinner with good company and good food.
I enjoyed many meals at the Orange Room before it closed last year and I'm happy to see it open again albeit as a fairly different restaurant than it was. I live in the area and it's good to have another dining option. . I've been for brunch and dinner and found both menus appealing and the items ordered fairly tasty and well prepared. The martini list is intriguing and the ones that we have tryed have been very good. I hope the new Orange Room keeps up the good work and maybe sneaks in a weekend breakfast menu as well.
Sometimes you just need a big greasy breakfast and this is a pretty good place to find one. We find the service good and usually the food comes out fast and hot. There are some healthier choices on the menu but I stick with bacon, eggs sausage etc. Weekend mornings are always busy, but the table turnaround is fairly quick.
This is just what we all needed on a cold Sunday night. It is a small, slightly cramped restaurant but cozy and mostly warm except for those of us seated by the entrance. There was a regular cold breeze from the door as people shuffled in and out. It appears to be a very busy place although our group of six only had to wait for 15 minutes. We were all satisfied with our meals, particularily the vegetarian in our group who had the Ratatouile stew. We'll be back.
A nicely decorated, clean restaurant. The staff are attentitive and knowledgeable. It was not a busy night by any means but there were 5 or 6 other tables going while we were there and they all appeared to be well served. The food was good in taste and portion and at fair prices. A welcome addition/renovation to Sapperton.
Four of us went to the River's Reach for dinner last Sunday night. It was the first time there for all of us. It is a typical pub with the usual pub food and drink along with many flat screens hanging on the walls. The service and food all went well and there were no complaints from any of us. We'll be back for hockey season.
