House of Dosas1391 Kingsway, Vancouver
Remind me india.
Submitted Saturday, April 3, 2010 - 11:05pm [Dine in]

After my long holidays i went to house of dosas. , i felt totally diff vibe. place is so much happening. i am so happy that i can see matches too, but the thing make me so happy is the atmosphere is so much india, sply by pic subhash chandra bose and indian emblam near counter. food is priced carefully and working for them. portion is ok , but taste of sambhar is not much liked. i had rava dosa is my first time and i liked it , very crispy. staff is very nice but all have different cloths, so looks like cafe style .

but i am happy i went there, and will go there with my friends, keep it up guys,

Best south indian food.

I would like to say food is incredible there. i love dosa and uttapam , good portion too, very nice place with high value for food. prices are great. but i feel ambiance is not doing justice with restaurant. chef/owner is very humble and good, every time try to check food quality and guests views. i feel its very imp to keep quality high.

will go there for sure. love

My first visit to indian oven , not a bad experience , i went to this restaurant with my 2 friend. first we were in mood to dine in but as it was getting late we had take out. food was cooked very fast. very quick staff. we were greeted very warmly by indian lady. nice statues in restaurant too . after paying bill which was no too much and not too less also , we found our dishes were tasty and good portion, but bhindi were most home less. cant chew even. only bad part.

rest every thing was fine. will there soon , and will recommend it , hope next time bhindi is good ,

Yesterday i went with my wife and 2 frnds who never had Nandos before to have some chicken , we went to nando's kerrisdale and let me tell u it was the best chicken i ever had, and i m a nandos fanatic. The food came out right on time and was busy too, i love the staff and girl was very friendly.chicken was really hot and juicy, peri fries ,,oh may god were the best. the great things is they serve beer. last time we have tried eating at kits location and let me tell u it was horrible there first of all we ordered party pack and it came up chicken was dry like H*%l. and peri fry were soggy and full of oil. i wont go there ever again.

love to go there again but may be for ice cream this time , food can be better.

Blanc food with delay
Submitted Tuesday, April 21, 2009 - 12:58am [Dine in]

Being a vegetarian i always wanted to visit naam , i heard a lot. so i went when i was very hungry for lunch , arround 3.30 pm , but i have to wait for 15 min b4 get seat ,
but waitress was very polite and said we are very busy. menu was big and lots of dishes, but i ordered a pizza and my friend some noodles, it took 15 mins to give orders , had to look her but server was really busy. after order it took 30 min plus to get food. but pizza was big and filling , could have more flavor, still it was nice and hot. i think knife need to be change because i could not cut my pizza slice with the knife provided , may be safty knife ,
all the time server was running and doing all work very effectively, well done , may be they need more staff , its obvious ,
but not keen to go again , too much time for normal food
