(3.5) (4.3) (3) (3.8) (3)the major part of the menu is its price. its cheap! but delicious. mexican rice, and burritos with their potato toddlers are excellent. get the tomato sauce in front of the cashier. youll like it the second time u use it. i always think...why would anyone go to subway? subway is fricken expensive now...and no good combos.
the owner is unique! he used to be a chiropractor. but loves the food business.the best in lansdowne food court.
food was pretty good. but i think they toned food and bbt cheaper. i ordered the fried fish/rice. underneath the fish, there should be onions (cause i love onions) at the bottom. all the crispy chicken and pork should have it. i only saw fish, with usual appetizers and rice. i think portions got smaller.
i ordered pudding bbt. the first time i drank it there, i had the pudding. but this time, i had no pudding inside. (thats the main part of the bbt!!!) i asked them, wheres my pudding? they said u must add 50 cents. wtf? thts total bullshit! service is stupid as usual. my pudding bbt was to go, but made it in a glass cup. a waitress, at the last second, discovered the mistake. cheapskates! go to the one at marpole library. i think its called wang's noodle house?
I really like the rice selection and the BBT. It's fantastic. The menu is pretty cool, like selecting from a 'all you can eat' type of menu. But I rather say the order to the waitress/waiters. This restaurant stopped me from going to Pearl Castle. The food is better, and closer...for me. I remember there was a restaurant before Tri-ty came (forgot what's it called), the place looked much bigger. But Tri-ty's renovation made it at least 40% smaller. So it's more uncomfortable than the other restaurants.
i love going there for its big breakfast combo and great lunch value. the food is amazing for its price. their drinks (i order ice lemon tea everytime) is the best. and also, FREE REFILLS! i love their lo po bian. the place is dirty though, especially the back entrace where you park. the service is quite good. i like the seating arrangement, you can either sit by yourself or with like 10 other people without moving any tables.
