great indian food!

I have always wondered where the crowds are when we eat at Bombay Bite. The restaurant is flawlessly perfect in cleanliness and the service is always very good. We were taken in the kitchen to show us how they made certain dishes. They have special clay ovens to cook the tandorri chicken on spears and they also showed us how they bake their naan bread. Everything is steaming hot with wonderful flavor. The luncheon buffet is the best place ever to get the best value and can't be beat for walk in and sit down dining. It makes the perfect spot for a lunch time of thirty minutes before returning to work.
The chicken tikka is amazing and comes on a sizzling platter at your table. Lamb korma and Butter chicken are our family favorites but when we have been more adventurous we have still been very pleased.
Thumbs up for this spot!

it's always Venetis

This has been our families favorite restaurant for fifteen years. We appreciated the booths when our children were young and now we marvel at how they can accommodate even our work parties of thirty plus.
The main reason Venetis is top choice for all of us is consistancy. No matter who we have taken, the food has always pleased. The steaks are to die for, always flavorful and tender. The chicken dishes also are really tasty and with a great variety of choice.
We've come to know the staff as freinds after all these years and as it is a family run business, it has been delightful to witness those who wiped tables as young ones grow into able and cultured hosts.
I imagine we are not alone in our experience as many patrons are greeted by their given names and a great deal of warmth.

This used to be the loveliest place to lunch in Langley, however, service and value have diminished so badly it is not worth it.
I had tryed phoning and had left two messages for reservations without any responce and after dropping in we were seated at the last available table on the patio. I asked why there was no phone call back and all I recieved was a shrug.
We waited an eternity to place our order and again to accept our order. Perhaps, having contracts for busloads of tourists complicate the smaller orders but we weren't impressed.
My sister and I had one glass of wine and a soup and salad each bringing our lunch bill to 68 dollars.
