Drove by this restaurant a week ago and there was nobody inside. Mind you it was a Wednesday but still, didn't want to chance eating in a place that was empty.
Drove by it again last night and saw 10 - 12 tables were full. Decided to give it a chance as there aren't that many Vietnamese restaurants on the Shore. When we walked in, we were asked to wait for a moment. As I looked around, I noticed all the tables that were empty had not been cleaned yet. We waited for about 3 minutes when we were finally shown a table.
The place is nothing fancy decor wise (but I didn't expect it to be). One thing that I did appreciate was that they were playing regular music instead of vietnamese music like most places do.
I ordered the rare beef/beef ball noodle. My bf ordered the spicy noodle. We also got the bbq pork and 2 iced coffees.
I was pleasantly surprised with the noodles! The soup was piping hot and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The beef came way too well done but it was decent. Ice coffees were yummy. My bf said his noodles didn't seem to be cooked thoroughly but overall, it was good.
I would def. recommended this place if your on the North Shore and craving Viet food. I'm def. going to return!
On a side note, they may want to hire one additional person to work the front. There were only 2 people up front and they were so busy that they didn't even have time to clear tables.
