I haved lived in North Delta for most of my life but just reciently moved within walking distance of Minori. I had a craving for sushi and enventhough I didn't have a take out menue or phone number, I walked down to the restaurant to place an order. I walked into the place, which looks nicer on the inside than the ouside, and was greeted by a nice lady who promtly gave me a take out menue. I ordered Gomae, Vegitable Tempura, a Philadelphia Roll, a Caniforia Roll, and a Spider Roll. It came to under 30$ and was a good amout of food. Enough for at least 2 meals. I was told my order would be ready in 30 mins which was expected since there were about 5 other take out people waiting. I went across the street and did some shoping and retured after 20 minutes and sat down at the counter and started reading The Province. Before I was finished my first artical my food was handed to me my the friendly smiling lady and I was on my way home. The Veggie Tempura was a generous portion and delicious. The Gomae was also very tasty... But best of all as the Sushi! The California Roll was above average, the Spider Roll was fantastic and the Philadelphia Roll was out of this world! They make thier sushi to the order and you can see the chiefs doing so as you order. I will definately be back! Good jod Minori!

I was house sitting for my parents and pulled out the take out menu's to find some sushi. I picked Asa Sushi because it was snowing heavily and it was a short walk up the hill. I ordered over the phone and picked up my food 30 mins later. When entering the restaurant I noticed a strong warm fishy oder. ew! I ordered Gomae, Miso Soup, a BC Roll, a California Roll, and a Dynamite Roll. I arived and payed for my order, around 25$, and it was ready. The man behind the counter then fetched me my miso soup out of a crock pot behind the counter that seemed to be almost empty. When I arived home I opend up my gomae to find a very small portion. I could fit it into a table spoon. After my appy I went onto eat the miso soup... which tasted just like it cost 1$. As for the rolls... even after walking my food home in sub zero temperatures my sushi was quite warm, above room temperatue. My California Roll was average, Dynamite Roll OK but have had way better, and my BC Roll Was not very good at all... I believe it was made from canned salmon. I've never had canned salmon in sushi before. I was very tured off. The place is small, smells bad and the food was barely eatable.
