We love this place too, they got lots of fresh RAW FISH.
But the price they are charging are too high compare to other japanese high class restaurant.
We went there for a group of 3 people. with a few disk we ordered on the regular menu, it cost us almost $ 200 for the total bill.
I agreed, they got some special sashimi but only a few pieces. We will come here more often if their price adjust a bit or got some promotion/ special

We went here last couple weeks for lunch. The portions in this restaurant are embarrassing small compare to the BIG price they are charging.
I ordered a cutlet chicken on rice. It was alright, but nothing special. For less money, I could have gone across the street to silver tower for the same meal (with more food) which includes a drink and soup.
My boss’s noodle soup was below average. The beef was like eating beef jerky. We order chicken wings to share, don’t know why the wings were deep fried using tempura batter. Guess they are having an identity crisis.
Small portions and food does not make for a good meal. The restaurant is clean enough but never a good sign when the washrooms are used for storage...baby high chairs? Service was bad, it takes almost half and hour to get your meal, no parking as this restaurant. We don’t think we will be back…..

Possibly the best Vietnamese noodle restaurant in North America.

We are always happy to eat at Pho 99 in Richmond location as the food comes out fast and hot. The service is excellent. This place close by my office and they provide a big free parking at the back of this restaurant which will save us some $$$ for parking and time of course. The food and the prices are very good for the combo deal. Less than $ 10 you can get everything main course (noodle soup), appetizer and beverage.
Couple of my friends has been telling me about this place for a while, saying that their noodle soup and spring rolls, chicken wings, lemongrass chicken on rice are way better than other Vietnamese restaurants., I finally headed out to this place last Tuesday for the first time. During 1 week I visited pho 99 for more than 5 times. I want to try out their entire menu.
My friends were absolutely right. I ordered a noodle soup with thin sliced beef and beef meat balls, it was fantastic! The meat in it was very fresh while the soup base was delicious and hot, perfect for taste bud and this kind of cold nights. The service is excellent; decoration is very impress for a Vietnamese restaurant. We went there today for lunch again with a group of 5, the place were full. Lucky we found our seat after waiting for 2 mins. For sure, we will pick pho 99 from now on.
