Not good enough
Submitted Wednesday, June 22, 2011 - 2:10pm [Take-out]

Breads were fresh, turkey sausage old....order was wrong, they did not return my call.

Baked goods were not completely fresh. You could taste "old".

Cashier unfriendly! Wine old also... No one acted like they give a hoot. Francois didn't come out; they were eager to close after lunch and I feel my order was rushed. They were unattentive and to say the less, I was turned off.

I have found Vancouver is notorious for this kind of service.

Had creole and it was made with BBQ sauce. Everything tasted like BBQ sauce. The mushroom appt was awful. No taste plopped on a handful of greens for 11.00. The cornbread was like cake and then toasted. Way too sweet nothing like new Orleans. The wine list is poor for Granville street. Everything is doused with hot BBQ sauce. The corn was a joke. Tasted like smoked cream and little corn. Just way disappointed. Good atmosphere. Great potential. But not there. Long way to go. The alligator ws chewy and tasted like buffalo wing sauce. Yuck. The only thong that tasted normal was the red beans and still the were dry.

I can seriously cook the crO out of cornbread and this was terrible.

Guess I should have ordered a burger. Or went to the cactus club where consistency is best attained.
