This is a good place to get a group together, but some of the other reviewers are right, you really need to get the attention of your server. Leaving a $20 bill on the table might help. The cocktail bar had a nice collection of ladies and gents (got to be equal) and they were having fun.
The atmsophere is light and fun. Sort of a Commercial Drive feeling. The room is small and intimate. We had the veal and the catch of the day, both of which were perfect. Not a lot of flair to the food, but very good. Wine selection is sufficient and in a good price range.
The new casual seating in the restaurant and the great new menu make it one of the best places on the North Shore. We tried the tasting menu, which for $50 is a great value. One of our friends ordered off the menu and no-one was disappointed.
Our waiter had great wine knowledge, which was surprising because she seemed pretty young. She had a recommendation for everything, and they were all on the mark.
The desserts, while ok, were not quite up to par with the rest of the experience.
A great place for a group of friends.
