We always make a reservation at this place on the weekends - they always have a lineup. Be sure to get there 15 minutes or more befor you reso so they know you're there!
The food consistent and you get all the regular Dim Sum goodies.
Pricing a tad on the higher side but there aren't too many 2.95 Dim Sum places that servce good food anymore....
With a table of 10 people, service was quick, food hot and tasty together with the buzz of a happening Dim Sum place which a big part of the experience. Polite and friendly staff are better than but not as unique as the screaming Dim Sum lady at Poh King on Kingsway ;)
Recomended Happy Valley
Lunch time on a Friday.
We were seated in the same servers section and she remembered us and our drink orders - Very good!!
I had the Chilli Dog on our servers recomendation and she was spot on! A foot long wiener with chilli and dollop of sourcream and Guac in the centre - it looked great. It even came in it's own rectangular ceramic serving dish :) It was tasty, filling and at $8.00 you cannot beat the deal. No sides with the Chilli Dog.
My 2 colleagues ordered the Lobster Panini - one liked it, the other did not. It looked kinda boring and tastless to my eyes...
All in all, another good lunch!
Prix Fixe menu.
Food was great! Tasty, we'll presented.
Good ambience - music and crowd were cool
Table settings: The Cutlery was wrapped in a rag! Ragkins??
Yes, no exageration here. You know, when you go to Canadian Tire and but a box of oil rags - they were the very same!! Even worse - you go to the washrom - there are no paper towels.. The same rags are stacked there for you to use :( Not trying to be rude but thoughts were do the washroom ragtowels get reused?
How come no one else has mentioned this?

I booked a milestone birthday here for 20+ people. The owner was very friendly and accomodating compared to other indian places around town.
The food was excellent - all the guest comments very postive.
The food was hot and tasty, the naan was hot & fresh.
The service was polite and organized.
They have a great patio outside where you can see/hear the waterfall in the plaza beside the restaurant.
It's a shame more people don't know about this place. We were so pleased with our party, we really want this place to do well.
We'll be back to try the other items on the menu!
There was only 2 of us when we started going here... Now the 3 of us go and it's still the same place excet we have the do a little more maouvering around this packed out place!
You know what you're getting when you go here, good value for your hard earned $$ and an atmosphere/vibe that's cool :) So, who cares if you have to refill your own coffe and water?!?! :)
Only ONE complaint.... It's damn hard to find any parking close by.. I do feel sorry for the residents around that block :(
The 3 of us plus another 3 went there as the there was a 45 minute wait at the Orange Room.
Got seated right away, orders placed a little late as we were chatting away. I ordered a WH special (2 eggs, 2 sausages, chunky hash and a waffle) I asked for the waffle to come later. The waffle nice and warn and tasted gooood!
Food was good, sausages were tasty and the service was o.k. I say o.k as our server was an older European lady than came accross a bit stern as compared to other servers that appeared a lot more friendly and happy to see the babies at our table.
Good all round value, food came as ordered even though they seemed a litle busy and extra points for really good coffee too!
I went there on Good Friday since the other 2 were of out town. The place had about 4 customers at around noon'ish...
I ordered the potatoe special breakfast (I think thats the correct name) - it comes with 2 eggs, 2 slices of toast and chunky potatoe hashbrowns that were mixed with cheese, tomatoes, cabbage, broccoli and onions.
Service was prompt and the foos came quickly as ordered - it was everything you'd expect it to be.
Looks like the place is run by a chinese family. The mum was sitting with an older customer chatting away... a couple walked in later and knew her by name..
All in all, a nice cafe setting that's one one of those "trendy" places in main :)
I'd go back with the other 2 and friends for brunch.
