SO i used to go to this place all the time in 2006. But new management has thrown this poor restaurant 10 ft under. I went there wednesday with friends to check out their buffet and the food tasted old. The service was very poor. Couldnt get the servers attention to order coke. I give them a one for poor food because it tasted like last weeks leftovers. A one for service because the server did not come back to check on us at all. Ambiance- this place needs a face lift. Needs some heavy dusting and repairing done. The booths the wall the pictures all look very vintage. ITs almost like cafeteria style. Would not suggest this place to a friend. However have been to ALL INDIA davie which is under a whole different management team and that place rocks solid. Also been to ALL INDIA Robson, they too have no management correlation with ALL INDIA main street...Robsons also a good place to eat.

I have been eating at Maurya for atleast 3 years. Let me tell you since their new management took over Sept 2009 they have taken the service and food to a new level. I took 2 gf's there on friday night. We ordered mini samosas and aloo chaat. Then ordered butter chicken, chicken chetnad, pallak panir with naan bread and rice. We were stuffed the food was so tasteful . The ambiance is so graceful with classy indian music playing in the background to their decor. They have a huge flower peice in the centre which makes it cozy and high ceilings with beautiful drapes. Our server was really good. He was kind, smiling all the time and we got prompt service. I ordered mango ice cream for desert...mmmm very tasty. I would absolutely suggest this place to friends. The management has rocked this restaurant to newer heights. Also the other day I heard Mauryas add on THE BEAT 94.5 which totally brought back that butter chicken taste..cant wait to go back for more :)
