My daughter who was 25 on 8/8/08 went to this INDIAN restraunt last night and I had to sneak back to try the raspberry icecream. I also had a craving for milk cake so decided to check out their Sweet shop through the door to their dining room. I asked for a couple of pieces of milk cake. The server, who had a beautiful smile, refused to take any money!!!!!!! Milk cake is usually quite dear. I would have expected to pay a Toonie at least. I tried to give her the coin but she just said no no no. To top this kindness, it turns out to be the best milk cake I have ever had, here or in India!!!!!!
I slipped through the dining room to the icecream parlour/bar. The raspberry icecream was served up by another smiling woman and it revialed the mango of last night. I must ask more details about the icecream. It is hard so not like gelato which I don't like. It is not as creamy and sweet as say Baskin Robbins but is satisfying. NOt like surbert where you feel like you have just had a whipped up popcicle. The server said it is made on the premises. I will return to get more of the story. This only requires taking the long way home to New West. and sacrificing the gas!!!!!!! What sin one will commit for icecream
