The food really is incredible, and sitting in there feels like sitting in a restaurant in Japan. And yes, I've been to Japan, lol. It's a bit larger than what you see in Tokyo, but space is a lot cheaper here than there I suppose. But they flat out nailed the ambiance, seriously.
The only thing negative I could say it I find it a bit pricy unless you stick with the specials. I like to live a little and eat things out of the ordinary, and once my husband and I literally spent $70 between just the two of us. And neither of us is particularly heavy. But - that was probably our own fault - it's still cheaper than The Keg. And that $70 was the best Japanese meal I've had in years.
They do wonderful sushi, but they're not limited to just that. The udons, dons, tempura, you name it from the kitchen, is all just amazing as well.
