We moved very close to Enigma and thought that perhaps it may be one of our 'regular' places to dine. Our first time to the restaurant was reasonable, albeit nothing special. The food was ok, and the service was okay as well. We've been back several times, really trying to give it a fair shake, but the nail in the coffin was when we went to their special 'Oscar Party' evening which we were invited for via email since we were members. Well... let's just say that inconsideration of some of the staff, expecially the older grey-haired lady (manager? owner? ...?) who continually got in the way of our waiter trying to make our evening a pleasant one. It was supposed to be a special event, but she kept turning down the volume so noone could hear anything.. nothign at all. and then went approached about it, she was very snarly and rude. Not the way to make/keep customers. Anyways... we havent gone there since, and really, we are not missing much as there are much much better places nearby with much better food and service.

I've been here several times for lunch and once for dinner. Fabulous place with real home cooked German food. The schnitzel with mushrooms and gravy for lunch with a beer is just awesome, at a very good price to boot.
hightly recommended. I just wish it was busier a little more often and that would help pick up the ambiance, but overall it's clean, service is good, food is great, and I dont have much to criticize!
