Good Food Service Inconsistent
Submitted Monday, November 6, 2006 - 11:34pm [Dine in]

The menu has a lot of options for lunch, dinner and also appetizers. The service varies from average to poor. The food is good and may get you back but nothing out of the oridinary or catchy. Little bit of changes and this place can be really buzzing.

Anton's Pasta Bar4260 E Hastings Street, Burnaby
The place for pasta lovers

I was not a big pasta fan before going to this restaurant. My cousin forced me to go this restaurant and I have returned on a number of occasions. The quality of food is high and very reasonable. It is actually two meals because I end up taking half of my portion home. The menu has options for all kinds of taste and the servers are very knowledgeable. Their desserts are also really tempting. Good food and good atmosphere. Only thing you need to bring is the appetite.

Best Burger Hands Down
Submitted Monday, November 6, 2006 - 11:20pm [Dine in]

Vera has the best burger in town. The place is expensive but it is worth it. The quality in the meat can be tasted. The shakes are really good as well. I go there for the food and everything else comes in later and food is great. The menu has lot of different flavours but they should add another chicken burger. Cant beat this burger.

Not a place for hungry man

This place has great food but the portions are really small. The quality of the food is good but the portion you get for the price is not justified. I would recommend to order a few appetizers and soup before the main course. I think the portions are perfect for women. The music is great although they never told us about the cover charge when we went in but in the middle of our dinner they said, if we dont leave in 20 mins we would have to pay $8 cover charge, which I thought is bizarre because we had a reservation.

Great Indian Food
Submitted Saturday, November 4, 2006 - 6:40pm [Dine in]

The food is great, the portions are larger than usual Indian restaurants. The owner does all the cooking so food is always good and consistent. The buffet is comparitively expensive to other Indian places. I would recommend ordering from the menu.
