Capstone Tea & Fondue1429 Robson Street, Vancouver
Not going back.
Submitted Tuesday, December 30, 2008 - 9:47pm [Dine in]

Capstone left a lot to be desired in my experience. The food was very expensive for what it was, which was very basic stuff; Standard fondue, standard bubble tea, etc. You could have little health options put in, but they charged you more for them (and it was expensive enough as it was). I was severely disappointed at the service here, as they'd messed up my and my friends' orders several times- then blamed US for THEIR mistake. The waiter stood by our table and right-out accused us of ordering things we didn't, it was horrible! Unfriendly service, by the time it was over they overcharged some of us and charged us for things we did not buy (and the prices were high enough as they were for what it was). They seemed to be very, very paranoid about being cheated out somehow, it was very offensive. I felt more like I was being monitored and interrogated while I was trying to enjoy a good time with friends. As for the interior, it's clean and crisp and modern, but the modern feel makes it less cozy, I find.
Not going back. Don't recommend. It would be cheaper and more comfortable to just melt cheese or chocolate at home (or just buy yourself a pack of Dunkaroos).

This place was fantastic! I was not disappointed in the least, the food was absolutely amazing, the best Chinese I've had in the city. The service was pretty solid. They forgot a few things but they were apologetic and quickly fixed their little mistake (they forgot the spring rolls). Friendly and accommodating. The price was good for what I got. The interior was nice, I found myself looking at all the lanterns and pictures hanging, it was a nice family restaurant feel to it. I'm definitely going again, and I'm looking forward to doing so. A++

I like.

Good food, not much of a wait. Good service, friendly staff. Nice comfortable family restaurant style interior, with some nice paintings and pieces from India that look nice. Would go again, if I still lived in the area, recommended. =] I haven't gotten anything here that I haven't really liked. When you're done eating dinner you can pop over to the sweets shop next door, where you will find interesting Indian pastries at a good price from friendly, smiling employees. Customer service is great, here. They're friendly and make sure you are comfortable and enjoying your time without being suffocating.

Money's worth for food, but not my priceless time.

Decent-to-average food at so-so prices. For what it was and what I paid for it, you'd think you'd get a little more. Portions were skimpy and they didn't use much of the ingredients on each item. At least the milkshakes are good.
Everything, I mean everything from entrees to a glass of water, takes forever. Is that trying to be authentically French? I don't know. For what it was, it should not have taken so long. It was irritating to sit at that table with nothing to eat or drink for about an hour.

It was decently good-looking on the inside, at least.

This place is pretty good. The prices aren't bad for what you get and the food is not only flavourful, but healthy! I haven't gotten anything there I haven't liked. The sushi is fantastic, I like the special way they make their onigiri sushi (you'll have to go to find out what I mean =]). The ambiance is decent. Gets the point across and is comfortable to sit and eat in. Will be going again.

This place is really good at a good price. This place has the look and feel of a classic hometown Italian restaurant without being either too divey or too fancy. The food- all of the food- from the soups, to the salads, to the entrees to the deserts are fantastic. Made in time with not much wait (presto indeed,) the friendly and accommodating staff, nice surroundings and good food make this place a worthwhile visit if you're fixing for some Italian. It's not cheap but it's very affordable for what it is. I don't have any criticisms for this place, definitely going back again.

Go Go Curry House682 Seymour Street, Vancouver
The BEST.

Go Go Curry House (the sign outside says 'Go Go Thai Food') is my absolute favourite place in town, HANDS DOWN. I absolutely LOVE this place and its food; The service is great and SO friendly (the woman in the store is so smiley and welcoming =] ) and the food is DELICIOUS. First of all, you get a lot of food for what you pay for (it's reasonably priced) and the food is absolutely delicious. I usually get the N2, a noodles dish with veggies, peanut and pineapple. I haven't been to any Thai restaurant quite like this one, the food is unique and better than any other Thai restaurant I've been to. I'd highly recommend if you're in the area (or if you're not). The surroundings are casual but it's a comfortable place to sit and eat a good meal, and the service is very good and friendly. Five Stars.

I love this place! Nestled right by the beach it's a nice place to go to on a day trip over there- And worth your money, too. Everything I've had here is fantastic, the sushi is excellent and everything is well-made in good time. The gomaae is the best I've had anywhere else in Vancouver. The customer service is fantastic, the guy is so friendly. The food doesn't take long to come. The food- for what it is- is pretty inexpensive. The ambiance is casual and you'll find your eyes wandering around at all of the little decorations here and there as you eat. Nothing lavish, but if you're looking for a really good meal in the area Kits Sushi is the place to go. It's become one of my favorite places; I even get delivery from there.
