Good food but service needs work

The food is really good, but I find the value a bit crappy. It depends on what you get - some of the portions are bigger and worth it, and some aren't. Brunch is delicious and a good price.

The problem I have is that the service is inconsistent. We ordered nachos with sour cream and guacamole, only to have the sides added onto our bill for like $3 each! I'm sorry but $6 for guacamole and sour cream is just ridiculous. We argued with the server, and finally just said fine and paid it out of her tip!

Another time a friend ordered a cocktail, it was totally the wrong thing, the server was arguing with her about what she'd ordered - I'm sorry but a rye and ginger ale is a lot different than a caesar, hello?

Anyways, I like this place for brunch when it's not too crowded, or for a drink on the weekend if you're feeling the party vibe, but if you want a quiet dinner of great value for your $$$, don't go here.

This is exactly what I expected: so so. I went here with a friend, the waitress seemed kind of inattentive, but the hostess was nice and seated us right away.

The food was good, not outstanding or unique - I had an ahi tuna rice bowl. The tuna was cooked well and the presentation was nice but the salad tasted like it had melted butter dressing on it. My friend had a chicken pasta dish, she said the same - tasted fine. The beer was on special for $4 something a pint though, so that was a bonus. I think I would come back here for a drink and appetizer, just not a special occasion.

Didn't Actually Eat There...

Please note the site is making me rate all the questions before going forward, I didn't eat there so the food rating doesn't count.

My friend and I decided to stop here for brunch/lunch.The restaurant was pretty dead, we sat near the front and I asked to see the lunch menu. The waitress gave it to me, but gave us a spiel about how the cook couldn't make breakfast and lunch simultaneously, so we would have to both order the breakfast or both order the lunch? I didn't really get it, I just wanted a salad, so the server said "I'll check with the chef."

The regular coffee - not your latte or cappucino is listed as $4! A bit ridiculous, but my friend shrugged it off and ordered one anyways with milk not cream. To which our waitress replied that they don't actually have milk, none of their dishes have milk. At that point, we just told her we'd eat elsewhere and left.
