I have been to Hi-Dozo two times. The first time i had a good experience, food was good, service was not outstanding but that's expected in a Korean run sushi bar.
I recently dined there and it was a complete joke! A friend and I had asked the server what the specials were..the waitress had no idea, so she asked us to leave our seats and go to the enterence where the specials were listed...REALLY?!
After that ordeal, we placed our order with our server asked for tea a glass of white wine and red (which they only had one red wine out of 5 available) and an assortment of sushi. Once our wine and sushi arrived we told the waitress that we were still waiting for tea, she rolled her eyes and walked away. She then returned to our table with no tea and told us that we HAD to ask for tea..we told her that we did and she started arguing with us!!! After the meal we left with out giving a tip... the food was good but there are many other sushi restaurants in New west that have just as good sushi and freindly staff. I am NEVER going there again, and I don't recommend it to anyone.
