Sugarcane Vietnamese Cafe5633 W Boulevard, Vancouver
My Favourite Restaurant
Submitted Thursday, February 19, 2009 - 8:59pm [Dine in]

I eat at this reataurant 2-4 times a month. I live in South Surrey and I go into Vancouver once a week to have dinner with another Mom. We eat at the Sugarcane almost every week.

The food is always yummy! I like to try food in restaurants that I don't cook at home. I have tried a number of items on the menu and I like them all. I especially like the imperial roll and chicken curry.

The service is always great. We ask for our pieces to be cut small and we ask for more sauce. They are always nice and they remember you and the way you like things done.

The prices are very reasonable and the servings are generous enough to take some home for lunch the next day.

This is one of the cleanest restaurants around.

Harbour House12233 Beecher St., #101, Surrey
Worth the Price of Addmission

We have been to the Harbour House at least a dozen times. We like to take friends there for dinner and family there for brunch. We bring our kids and they make their pancakes fast and I appreciate that.

Harbour House offers some unusual dinners. My husband likes that because he knows I don't cook pheasant.

The prices are higher but so is the quality. Therefore, we don't mind the spending a little more. They have a coupon in the entertainment book so give it a try and judge for yourself.

Maple Sushi2385 King George Highway, Surrey
Three Strikes and Maple Sushi is OUT
Submitted Thursday, February 19, 2009 - 7:57pm [Dine in]

We have tried Maple Sushi four times and we have been disappointed three times. Tonight was by far the worst sushi we have ever had. The tuna sashmi was not cut properly, the shrimp on the sunomono was off and the oyster motoyaki had no oyster and tasted like mayo. Therefore, Maple Sushi is off the take-out list.
