I've heard of Kelsey's for a long time and finally went there for a late lunch. The service was very friendly. The setting very nice and enjoyable. The food was good but one small detail stopped it from being outstanding - my burger was served with a hamburger bun and not a kaiser bun.
That one thing made a big different for me because hamburger buns are spongy and tasteless but a kaiser bun in delicious and makes a burger. Had they served their burger with a kaiser bun I would have given Kelsey's a perfect rating.
Oddly enough, I never have gone back and don't plan too - I feel for the price I paid they should be able to afford a nice bun and I have to wonder, if they skimp on a bun, what else in other dishes do they skimp on?
