Visited Sushi Paradise based on reviews of others and because of references to the chef and the Octopus Garden in Kits. The Octopus Garden was where I first sampled sushi in the mid 1990's. I was curious to say the least.
The ambiance here is great, the staff polite and courteous, the prices rock bottom. How could you lose?
The only drawback is that the food is not spectacular to say the least. Frankly I would rather pay more for better quality sushi(Isami in Burnaby comes to mind).
Like I said all good except that if you are after oodles of taste and you are not concerned by budget this may not be the place for you.

Had Pepperoni and Cheese by the slice. Fresh, tasty crust, lots of spicy pepperoni, great sauce, everything in harmony. You should expect good pizza from a pizza place - goes without saying... and to my mind the best test is the humble pepperoni and cheese. I am hooked. Next test will be pizza from the regular menu.

Stopped into the Curry Point because it looked like there was some good square footage to squeeze in the stroller.... but that is where the good news ended.
The food was sub par at best and seemed to cater to perceived Western tastebuds rather than keeping it authentic.
What we had:
Palak Paneer (Spinach & Cheese) - Watery, flavourless and aching for a 100th of a teaspoon of spice.
Butter Chicken - mediocore and flavourless
Curry Beef - the best thing we had, but I owe it more to the beef than anything else
Chick Pea Curry - bland bland and undercooked
Rice - watery
Naan - undercooked and rubbery and weird aftertaste
Mango Lassi - fantastic
