My families favorite restaurant on the North Shore. Carmelo's is always busy-great ambience, food and service. I love the homey feel, familiar food (you know exactly what you are going to get) and professional service I receive. We try to go every Wednesday for the spaghetti and meatball special, the osso bucco is to die for and the best pizza outside of Italy that I have ever eaten. The servers are professional - know the menu and wines. The service can sometimes be "harried" due to amount of volume-but that's what makes Carmeol's real.
