Pretty Average but good

Been twice now, decent food, reasonable prices, would be willing to try more things on the menu. Spinach salad was delicious and service was great. Not very busy so no reservations are required unless its a weekend. Good priced menu for Dine Out! Free parking was a plus and is close enough to everything without all the hustle bustle of No. 3 road.

Need to make better steak to be a steakhouse
Submitted Tuesday, January 20, 2009 - 9:41pm [Dine in]

This place had great qualities when we walked in. Had reservations, place was clean, upscale, good service, great looking menu. Unfortunately, the food was extremely lacking. The sizzling steak was blah with no flavor and the chicken proscuitto dish was dry and small. The prices were pretty expensive considering the quality. My suggestion to them would be to stop trying so hard with the rectangular plates and over the top 'butler' service. People eat out for the food. I would have given this place a higher rating if the waiter was a jerk, it took 45 minutes to get my entree and the food was actually good. Too bad, Richmond really needs a good steakhouse.

Good Chinese, even if your Chinese

Even if you are Chinese, and want 'authentic Chinese' you'd have to be an idiot to think the food is bad. They make the best won ton soup I've ever tasted, with shrimp and the soft noodle chowmein is the best. Service is always good and fast - and I dont know what that diner that went to No. 9 thought, but No. 9 is not nearly as good. This is not dirty, scrubby Hon's. Danny's is by far the best takeout Chinese place in Richmond.
