Joey's was sure a surprise. I was here for an anonymous date and we started with Margaritas which came fast and were really goof.
We started with tacos and a salad. They were delicious but kinda hot. We ordered steak and fish with wine. My girl said her fish was perfect. We added some wine for dessert. It is a cool place.I like the food and service (you know what I mean) at Cactus Club but I think Joey's is now a favourite for these kinds of dates. The food is good, the wine list is acceptable, the location is very good for us and I have to say the skirts are short.

First, I do not suggest you come here with a date. But if you do, she will be impressed with the dancing, atmosphere and the activity. Second, there might be an opportunity to invite other customers, such as a group of ladies, to dance with you. This place is a dancing place! Not as good as the old New West standby but it is a nice place with enough size and music where you can dance. There were a group of Asian ladies that would have been great to invite were it not for my lady friend.
Food, expensive for what it is. The quantity is fine but the prices are high. Seeing that wine is a must this place will put you out of pocket quite a bit. Be careful if you head down. Then there is the parking dilemma but that is another issue.
Service, adequate. The waitress was a flurry of activity but was kinda OK very cute. Didn't see much of her though.
