went here randomly. was drawn in by the cheap prices. pleasantly discovered that the salmon is wild, not coloured, farmed stuff. good, solid sushi. didn't have to ask for tea, was automatic, unlike that much busier, and nastier kitsilano sushi (see my other review). and cheaper than that other place too.
only thing to watch out for is ordering over the phone by credit card. the guy repeats everything really loud for everybody in the restaurant to hear.

i passed this place a couple of times and from the look of it, i thought it didn't look good. anyways, a friend recommended this place and i thought i shouldn't prejudge the place so my wife and i decided to go in.
i looked at the menu and thought i better be safe and order something that was fully cooked - the chicken teriyaki box. my wife ordered a dynamite roll, an unagi roll and an appetizer tempura, also all fullt cooked. first of all, the dishes arrived over a span of 15 minutes - not nice for someone to watch while the other is eating. the rice was terrible - the other reviewer has is exactly - soft, mushy, and tasteless. in fact, all 3 sushi rolls tasted exactly the same....pretty hard feat i would think. the sushi was also poorly rolled and fell apart immediately after picking up. second, the chicken and rice was really swimming in teriyaki sauce....cover up for sure.
this is my first review, and the only reason i'm writing it now at 1am is because my stomach is upset and i'm been bloated and burping for the past hour. apparently, there is no safe choice....
