Don't eat here

We ordered drinks and the 'Unique Platter' ($22) which is basically large oval plate piled with several tastings of HG's appetizers. Everything except for the mixed greens salad was lackluster and tasted bland as though the person who made it forgot to add (at the very least) the salt and pepper. Crab cakes were more cake than crab. Bruschetta was like eating cheap white day-old french bread sliced with unseasoned chopped tomato mix (no garlic, no olive oil drizzle, no warmth from the bread). Stuffed mushrooms were watery. Presentation D-. If you're going to serve a platter of different appetizers, don't just place them on a plate and call it a day. And if you're going to serve guacamole, at the very least squeeze lemon juice on the advocado before it oxidizes because brown guacamole don't look pretty especially if it's unceremoniously plopped on top of the mixed greens.

The drink special was Vodka slimes (vodka, club soda, lime). But they f**ked that up too by adding lime cordial.
