Very good food

I love coming here because the food is very good. But every time I do come here, I am always angry at our server and the long wait for a table and for food. I myself am I server so I have quite a bit of sympathy when it comes to slow service but some of the servers here are a little ridiculous.

Incredible Service and Steak Size

I came here with my sister and was left extremely happy - feeling well treated and had a belly full of good food. My sister and I got seated in a roundabout booth table, and the host pulled the table out so that we could sit down without having to squirm down the seat, which was a pleasant surprise. I love that they bring out the food on a cart so that you can choose which items you want based on what it looked like, and not from what you read off a menu. The food came in huge portions which made the price of the food seem more worth it. We ordered prime rib, garlic mashed pots, and asparagus. the asparagus was HUGE. We only ordered one prime rib to share between the two of us, and we had to take home half. When we were paying, my sister needed to go to the ATM. The server went with her, in the elevator, up a floor, and stood waiting for her. He acutally escorted her up to the ATM! Our bill ended up being around 120-130 dollars, and we left 200. Will definately come again.

Big Let down
Submitted Thursday, April 12, 2007 - 9:19pm [Dine in]

I came here because I passed by often and always wanted to try it. It has been months since I acutally went in, so in my head, i had built the place up. It was a huge let down. I am a really big sushi fan and would eat it everyday if I could. I went in with a friend for take out. we arrived at 7:15pm. We ordered the tuna and salmon sashimi, toro sushi and special scallop sushi, and a philadelphia roll. We didnt get the food until 7:40pm and there were only 3 tables inside. The tuna and salmon sashimi were VERY small and did not taste very good. I am okay with the pieces being small if it was good, but it was not. The toro sushi did not taste like toro, but just like a regular tuna piece. The scallop sushi was also not up to par. The worst part of the meal though, was the philly roll. I asked the server what it was, and she replied with "cream cheese, salmon, avocado and crab meat that is lightly deep fried". It did not have salmon in it, and the deep fried batter stuck to my teeth and tasted a lot like cilantro which i cannot stand.

I don't think I will ever be returning to Gohan.
