Excellent food and good value

The food here is excellent. If you want quality, freshness and good service, check out this place. The sushi is excellent. Try their sashimi, nigiri sushi, etc. All their tempuras are perfectly crisp. And their torarenbo rolls are excellent and spicy. One of the best Japanese restaurants we've been to and has become are favorite spot.

Great food but average service

The service in this restaurant needs to be improved. However, the food is fantastic. Every dish is full of flavor. The prices are reasonable. They recently moved to a newer location which is much bigger than the original restaurant. This is a great family restaurant. Definitely worth your while.

Not great and is over hyped

I went a few weeks ago with colleagues. We sampled a few dishes such as lamb, short ribs, etc and for dessert had creme brulee. The portions are decent small sized portions as expected. However, the food is very bland. The short ribs had no flavor. The lamb was cooked properly however again lacked flavor. The sides were boring and bland to say the least. The creme brulee was average and was cold. This restaurant has too much hype. I'm a huge food snob when it comes to food and I say if you are taking a group of foodies with you, do not bother going.
