This is the second time I went to this restaurant. I should say the first time (a year ago) experience was better. Food was better & in bigger portion. Last time we ordered the Seafood platter & this time we ordered the Famous platter. The salad was ok, the pita bread was hot, but homous was a bit cold, watery & sour to my taste. The chicken was fine but the lamb chop was overdone. I just ate a few calamari because it's deep-fried & kind of greasy. The stuffed shrimp was soaked in butter while the shrimp cocktail was soaked in half-melted ice water, that made the shrimp look unappetizing. The green beans were undercooked & don't expect a whole roasted potato, you'll have only one thick slice!
Overall the meal was fine with the friendly service, comfy ambiance & reasonable price but I should say the food was not outstanding.
The place has a Mediterranean feel but it's kind of noisy mainly due to its tile floors & brick walls. Food was tasty & fresh, took 35 minutes to come. We had rack of lambs, salmon & free-run chicken, my only complaint was there were not enough vegetables came with the mains. Food was a bit overpriced considering its portion & the setting.
We went for the Friday night buffet. Food was reasonable but I found there were more appetizer than main course. The meats & salmon were overdone & kind of tasteless. The appetizers looked better than its taste but the variety was interesting. Dessert was good, choices were plenty but I thought they would taste better if they were more chilled. The waitress was quite attentive & our emptied plates were put away quickly. Room could be more ventilated for a warm summer day. Overall I think it's a good meal considering the cost.
