I live right around the corner... and ever since I moved in the owner and a few of the barista's have "befriended me". They are so chill and friendly, the coffee is phenomenal - I'm not a latte drinker, I have americanos and clovers and they do both great.
Unfortunately I'm not a 'sit in the coffee shop type' I get my coffee to go the only bad review is that I wish they were a little faster, but the great coffee is worth the wait.

As far as the food goes, I've been treated to a few free tastings, I guess because I'm a regular, and the baked goods I've had are awesome, I'm just not a 'sweets' person (i prefer to indulge in savoury and salty fare). I bought a breakfast wrap during the Olympics and I was unimpressed because it included potatoes. I'm weird... I hate potatoes, I'm sure the rest of the population that liked potatoes would like the breakfast wrap... it just seems kinda odd to me to wrap carbs in carbs... its not the only potatoey breakfast wrap i avoid though.

ok so the other reviews were for breakfast... i might try it out because I live nearby... and live music nights,.. again, maybe.

I was there for lunch there was no music to distract me. I ordered a quesadilla, not really that difficult, the taste was good, except for the fact that there was literally the least cheese I've ever seen on anything on that thing. maybe, MAYBE, an 1/8th of a cup on the whole thing. As far as I'm concerned the cheese makes the quesadilla, the cheese makes anything, this was beyond pathetic. They also served us 'no name' diet Coke, although the server did bring us cans of Diet Coke when we said they tasted a little funny. I also had the homemade chili something soup which was delicious. My friend had a ceasar salad, not too difficult, but it was apparently drowning in flavourless dressing and the lettuce was a little wilty.
Overall very unimpressed with the food, I'll get back to you about breakfast... i would like to support this local business in my neighbourhood, but as of now I can see why it's always empty.
