I was walking around the Kingsway area and decided to drop in for a quick bite before running my errands. Came in and and was greeted by the owner. The owner dropped off the menu and stood by the table waiting for me to order, which made me feel rushed. Menu was really small so luckily I was able to make up my mind fairly soon. Like the last review there are a lot of regulars watching TV and chatting up with the workers. Seems though all they had was coffee and no food? Sandwich was good, came out hot. However towards the end of the meal one of the patrons lit up a cigarette. Servers walked back and forth but no one said anything. I guess this is normal for them?

Came here after the movies on a Weds evening and arrived around 11:00 pm. Waited for 10 minutes until a waitress even acknowledge us.
Ordered the following
-beef noodle soup which was bland and tasteless (tasted like they just addeded noodles with hot water)
-deep fried tofu which tasted good
-spicy cucumber which was also good
-wontons in chili which was a little sweet for my taste
-and the seaweed kelp which never came
Our server had troubles taking our order when we asked for thin noodles she kept repeating thick????
First came the cucumber then the noodles in soup then the tofu. We waited for 50 minutes and still no kelp. We then decided to ask a waitress about the kelp and also placing in an order of the wontons in chili but the waitress looked at us with a confused look and rudley replied "what". Then another waitress came by to ask us about our concerned and we explained that we haven't received our kelp yet and also would like to place in the order for the wontons. She said that she will go check and asked us if we had already ordered the kelp which we replied yes to. The wontons then came out shortly and 20 minutes later still no kelp. We then asked again if the kelp was coming and she once again said she will go check. Eventually came back telling us that we never ordered it, it wasn't in the computer . What was bad is that we had to inquiry about it 3 times for them to realize that it was still missing!!! We then just ask for the bill and told them to forget about the kelp because waiting more than 1 hour for kelp is ridiculous . Was still hungry at the end of meal and the food was good but the service had made me wish I went to McDonalds instead so so I didn't have to go though such a horrible meal.

My friend and I went there after the movies and was greeted warmly at the door. We got sat at the booth and our server promptly came by and welcomed us. Since we were still undecided about drinks our server just brought us some water while we decided. The menu was amazing which made it hard to decide what to have because everything looked so good. Our server finally recommended a drink called the red dragon which was vodka, lychee, and 7up and it was very yummy. We finally ordered the following:
1. Dragon roll (which does not come with prawn tempura!!!)
2. Cheesy shrimp roll (so good!!!!)
3. Caterpillar roll (the cream cheese was a bit much but still very yummy)
4. Salt and chili calamari (my fave now)
5. Papaya and mango salad (refreshing)
6. Sambal seafood curry with yellow ginger rice (if you're a curry fan and a seafood fan you'll want to get this)
Overall I had a great time and the food was amazing. It's so nice to have a place to go when you want chinese, japanese, thai, malaysian, and singaporean food and have the ability to have quaility ethnic cusine at one place.
Would surley come back again
P.S. I tried ordering the quail egg but was informed that they have never carried it so was a little disapointed by the review before mine.
