Good place to try it out

Last time I went there was April 18th, and I've had a good time. The chef (former four seasons hotel chef) knows what he's doing, he knows how to make cheap ingredients look good and taste good. Thai hot is REALLY hot, so anyone with weak stomach should avoid it. Service is solid, waiter had easy access to our table and filled our requests immediately. However, it's really cramped, and there is no privacy between the customers. I could hear conversations behind me and front.

Pros - A chef who knows what he is doing.
-Affordable food that looks good and tastes good.
-I do feel a good ambiance of Thai in there.
-Serving is solid.
-red napkins, I've never seen that before.

Cons - It's not really a con, but watch out the Thai hot flavor.
- really cramped, no privacy.
- The ingredients of the food are cheap (cabbage and bean sprouts are not that
expensive) but chef makes it good.

I went their with my family on Saturday, and overall, it was alright. Cheap food, decent taste, nice location, it's a formula that works. Service was decent, I wish that the waiter came more frequently to fill our drinks sooner. It was a lot of pasta, and sauces were good; but I wish they had more vegetables in it. They had Italian pictures over the wall, but they had a sign for a French beer... I thought that was quiet funny.

-They give you a lot of pasta. Sauces are decent.
-The prices are fixed, making it easier to try many types of pasta.
-Menu has variety.
-Nice Italian pictures.
-Nice price.

-Too many people attracted by cheap, large quantity food.
-It's mostly pasta, and they could use more veggies.
-They have a sign for a French beer.... shouldn't it be some Italian beer?
-One person bathrooms, guys will be okay, I don't know about girls though.

I was surprised at what other reviewers have said about this restaurant, because that was not the case for me. I went their with my mother on Thursday for dinner, and the place was extremely busy. The waiter found us a table quickly and got our orders quickly. At the same time, I mentioned that I had a 9$ off coupon, and the waiter accepted without any arguing whatsoever. The food came quickly too (about 15 minutes), it was decent, I've tasted worse before. The place was comfortable; tables were well separated to give privacy and chairs/sofas were comfortable. The bill came out to be under 15 dollars.

- Quick service, food comes quickly too.
- The sushi rolls were good.
- the restaurant was comfortable
- They gave us free fruit(oranges and strawberries) for desert

-Some of the hot food (teriyaki) needs improvement.. They weren't good.
-The place was little dim for my mother, for she could not see the menu.
-Need to mention about the coupon before you order, or you're gonna get burned like the other reviewers.
