Great Girls Night
Submitted Monday, September 20, 2010 - 11:14am [Dine in]

I was planning a girls night out a few weeks ago and thought about going to Paesano's in Steveston. Had been to the old location and had a wonderful time.

We got there and were greeted by a very friendly hostess who showed us to our table. The ambiance was very chic and a much more modern look then the previous location - reminded me of a boutique style restaurant. Our server came to our table right away and took our drink orders, which were brought promptly. We started with the bruschetta after hearing a gentleman on the table next to us say that their bruschetta reminded him of food from a recent trip to Roma. It was amazing! The bruschetta had a bit of a spice kick to it which our group loved. Our group had a few girls who wanted to make modifications to their meals, which our server assured us wouldn't be a problem. One had an order of the lobster ravioli, not an item on the menu and it was delicious. The sauce was so flavourful, she cleaned her entire plate. 2 of of us had the angelhair salmone, which was also rich in flavor, I had the cannelloni and was pleasantly surprised.

We ended the night with tiramisu which melted in our mouths. Our server was very friendly and took the time to chat with us. The food was better then I remembered it being and we really felt like we got value for what we ordered. Will definitely go again!

Cute Little Italian Restaurant
Submitted Friday, June 15, 2007 - 3:04pm [Dine in]

I went with a couple of friends and was pleasantly surprised at this little Italian restaurant hidden in a corner. We ordered the bruschetta to start and I can honestly say it was delicious. Soft on the inside and mildly crisp on the outside. Our server was friendly and open to allowing substitutions in our meal. I had the veal canneloni and at first sight didn't think I could finish it but ended up savoring every bite until I was done. One of my friends had the steak which was cooked medium rare just as she had asked and the other ordered fettucine alfredo which was very creamy. To finish it off we shared the tiramisu and it was absolutely delicious. The owner came out and greeted out table which added just enough of a personal touch. I will definitely be going back!
