I've visited this restaurant countless times for various occasions. They are always able to accommodate any situation, from special variations of food for children, to large groups for birthdays and even the romantic date night for a couple. For the best experience, order many dishes to share and split the bill. Also, don't forget to order the "Golden Cups" appetizer you won't be disappointed.

We visited the Keg on Sunday after the Tough Mudder races this year and were thoroughly disappointed. Our group was 13 strong and never have I experienced such a poor meal in my life. After a 1.25hrs, we received what was supposed to be our food. Cold, uninspired, and tasteless my $40 dollar steak and half baked potato was the most disappointing moment of the entire weekend. Not to mention the joke of veg that was on our plates, 2 asparagus spears and that's it. The lack of kitchen knowledge by our server when one of our teammates placed her order for the lobster with everyone else and there was no lobster. Not to big of a deal normally but to wait 1.25hrs to find out that they were out is unacceptable. Finally the decor reminds me of watching the classic 90's movie "Aspen Extreme". Not anywhere near what it should be considering they are charging 15% more for thier menu than my home location of Victoria. Overall assessment of The Keg Whistler, Boooooo!
