Another Incredible Experience!!!!
Submitted Thursday, October 7, 2010 - 1:06pm [Dine in]

I had the fortunate opportunity to revisit this beautiful restaurant and introduce my girlfriends to this fantastic atmosphere on one of our traditional 'ladies night' outtings. We were pleasantly welcomed by a friendly server and was asked if we wouldn't mind taking a seat at the bar until a table opened up for us as at the time the restaurant was filled to capacity. At the bar we were offered a number of house drink specials and so we gladly accepted the Aloe Vodka Cocktails which were fabulous!

Ten minutes later our server pleasantly notified us that our table was available but we kindly asked if we could finish up our drinks at the bar first and continue chatting with the bartender "Kelly" as she was hysterical and kept us thoroughly entertained. Kelly you are truly one of the funiest bartenders we have every met, you go girl!

Once seated at our table we decided to order the Prawn Tofu, Green Beans, Bok Choy, Short Rib Sliders Sable Fish and Salt Fish Fried Rice! The food came out fast, hot and was absolutely to die for not to mention tasty beyond belief WOW 2 thumbs up to the Chef! In addition to an already amazing night we even saw a few basketball players from the Toronto Raptors who were in town getting ready to play a game against the Pheonix Suns, so exciting!!!!

We had such a wonderful time we'll be back for another visit The Real House Wives of Vancouver Xmas addition for sure!

Las Tortas Mexican Gourmet Sandwiches3353 Cambie St, Vancouver
Loved it!
Submitted Thursday, October 7, 2010 - 12:07pm [Dine in]

I had heard about this little torta house for a while and have been wanting to try for quite some time, well I'm happy to report that it fulfilled my every expectation. I love my sandwhiches / tortas and this was an overall great experience.

You submit your order by taking a crayon and checking off the menu boxes printed on brown paper bag menus. Generous sized portions and excellent flavors are filled inside these yummy tortas. I had the Mexican Club and am happy to report that it was delicious, fresh bread, lettuce, beans, turkey and jack cheese. I will definitely be back again =)

Oh yeah the bathroom was pleasantly decorated and clean too!

I had lunch with a friend today at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Gastown and was very pleased with the excellent service and fantastic meal! Right from the beginning we were greeted by the friendly hostess at the front who then handed us off to our wonderful server who happily took our order, chatted with us for a bit and then carried on with the rest of her duties. Keep up the great work, see you again soon!

Fabulous Authentic Chinese Cuisine!
Submitted Monday, May 31, 2010 - 12:50am [Dine in]

I've had the great privillege of being able to enjoy traditional round table chinese cusine at this fantastic restaurant located on West Broadway several times. Finally I no longer need to travel all the way into the bowels of Richmond fighting off terrible drivers, congested roads and horrendous bridgeway traffic just to enjoy good Chinese food!

Each time i've gone in for dinner i've had the pleasure of being greeted by multiple staff managers and servers welcoming me into their new restaurant! The food will meet your every desire as the dishes are both authentic and flavorfull.

If you're thinking of heading there for dinner make sure you either show up early or do yourself a favor and make reservations as this place fills up quick! Oh and once you've experienced dinner make sure you head back for some weekend dim sum. Yum yum yum!!!

Keefer Bar, The135 Keefer Street, Vancouver
Unbelievably Rude!
Submitted Saturday, May 29, 2010 - 3:24am [Dine in]

Let me start off by saying that the manager of this establishment should be fired immediately. My girlfriends and I went out on the town tonite specifically to check out the Keefer Bar. We had all heard good things about this boutique bar and were excited to try out their cocktails. To our dismay we encountered one of the rudest managers ever... I had ordered the Keefer Fizz, unfortunately as a result of my own taste buds I did not care for this drink and so I made a request to the manager to try something else (keeping in mind that I fully intended to pay for the Keefer Fizz). Well I must have hurt his ego as he became extremely defensive and proceeded to lecture me on how this drink was one of their most popular drinks on the menu. Thanks but if I wanted to get a lecture I'd sign up for your community college class entitled "How to lose a customer for being rude and obnoxious all at the same time". My girlfriends and I will never go back ever again so long as this person is still working there, talk about turn off!

Out of Prime Rib Again?!
Submitted Friday, May 21, 2010 - 2:00pm [Dine in]

I popped into the Keg Steakhouse in Richmond last Sunday craving my favorite Prime Rib Classic. To my dismay they had run out of prime rib yet again? This has happened to me a few other times and for life of me I just can't understand how such a large chain who specializes in steaks (especially the prime rib) can have this happen to them so often? I am a loyal Keg supporter so this won't deter me from coming back but for crying out loud please stop running out of on of your top sellers!!!!!

On a good note I was forced to try something different, and tried the mushroom crab sirloin and I'm happy to say that it was terrific! Creamy baked crabmeat sauce crusted over my sirloin need I say more!

Yummy!!!!
Submitted Saturday, May 15, 2010 - 6:10pm [Dine in]

I've been to this Petit Cafe a few times and I am absolutely in love with their sandwiches! Baked fresh every day they are in high demand and often sell out closer to the end of the day so make sure you call ahead to reserve your bread! Next to the sandwiches my other favorite item is the curry chicken, yum yum yum!!!! A little squishy inside but hey with all that good food makes for a homestyle family oriented environment! Can't wait until my next visit!
