I have been to Persian restaurants in Toronto, Ottawa and Windsor and I always come back to Cyrus on Ritson Road, in Oshawa, as my favourite place to eat.

The Falafel starter is a great teaser to the main course. The Chicken Shawarma plate is awesome (my husband's favourite) and I always enjoy the Fesejan (chicken). If you want a treat and enjoy shakes, try the Persian shake (Majoon) when it's in season! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone I speak with.

The owners are welcoming and friendly and they use fresh herbs and spices, which makes all the difference. This restaurant is fast becoming a well-known local establishment.
