(1.8) (1.8) (2) (1) (1.8)Went to Coquitlam Anduccis with friends and they were closed .. out of buisness so we went to the Anduccis closer to where they live and it too was shut for buisness... apparently they like to no pay bills and staff and have some health violations. I remember when this company used to be small and care for the guests and staff... maybe its corporate owned and has fallen thru the cracks but who knows... I think the owner lost out on some real potential... RIP anduccis
We went to the Coquitlam Anduccis Friday Afternoon for dinner and were surprised to find it vacated, upon asking next door at soccer world or whatever they are called I was told that the company went bankrupt and that the ownership had not paid rent or staff for months .. giving them bounced cheques. this sounded absurd since they have been a popular company for almost 20 years, so we went to the Guilford location and was told the same thing except they just closed on Wednesday, apparently the bank shut them down.. what a shame...
.. poor poor service, neglectful at best actually. Food was less than what it was in year past, especially from when was running the Wild Duck. too many changes with personel and trying to be so many other things.. what is the deal with trying to be nightclub/comedy club/live music club? Owners seem confused and lost thier purpose of what it is they try to become(although they are a nice english couple to talk to!) .. too many disappointments to name.. menu too big , felt like i was reading a novel. Not a very child friendly place as it seemed to be an interruption for the waitress to have to find out about a kids menu.
Soon it will shut down and someone who knows the buisness and trade will come in and hopefully hire those who know what they are doing. hopefully they will be back in my home area doing something good.
been to a few shark clubs over past 15 yrs... food been ok nice to try some new ideas.. however food lacked flavor and passion.. it was good tho just not a driving force in what is needed. service was slow but manageable.. food was slow too but drinks were kept attended to. just middle of road for all areas.. * note neuveaux style of restaurants and cuisne all the same now adays. why cant anyone be original?????????
was at this place the other day .. i used to love this place yearsa ago ... my has it changed.... i can tell they are trying to cut costs and make it more profitable.. obviously its not a good thing when the customer notices... tho still has a positive energy during day and early evening.. nioght time i dont feel safe inside... too much BS and bad press with stabbings and shooting and stories of bouncers inflicting injury on customers at thier own discretion.. id go back.. just not late at night
not bad.. tho i dont care for newveaux crap food.. i pay 20 dollars for a meal i want to feel full afterward... keep this type of menu downtown... give me something real. service was decent.. decor is bland.. i feel like im in a big empty room ... food tasted ok just small portions and limited selection unless u wan fusion/confusion cooking.
