Definitely coming back!

My boyfriend and I stopped in here for lunch and we were surprised at how good the place was!
It looked like it was newly renovated and the place was clean and chic. The menu looked really new too.
We ordered two lunch boxes and a Dynamite roll. The food was good and the portions were really generous. I will definitely make this place my regular sushi fix joint.

Great place for Mexican food!

I came here for lunch one day and the restaurant wasn't very busy. On the door there was a sign for Buy One Get One Half Off on Mondays which looks like a pretty good deal which I will take advantage of next time!

The chips and salsa were really good, and came in a pretty big portion size compared to Las Margaritas on West 4th.

I ordered the Lunch burrito which came with refried beans and rice. The food was very tasty and I will definitely come back here again!

Every time I have come here, I've had good experiences. The food is tasty and I love their pizzas. I haven't tried their pastas or anything, but the pizza is always a good choice. I like the ambiance, it's pretty chill except if you are near the kid's area because then it gets kinda loud, but that is understandable and I think it's a nice idea that they have that kid's play area there.

Although the food can be seen as overpriced, I think it is because you are paying extra for the specialty ingredients, meaning organic or locally grown.

The servers are usually pretty nice, and one was really nice about me forgetting to include the before price tip when I used a coupon. I left him some extra money on our table, but he said not to worry about it.

Room for improvement

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner one evening. We had an entertainment coupon so we were required to order drinks, but we would have done that anyways. The ambiance was kind of cheesy but it wasn't terrible.

The food was not that great. Everything tasted kinda of bland and boring. We both ordered the burritos, I had the vegetarian one and he had the meat one. We were both dis satisfied with our meal but, our waitress was really nice to us. I would come back here again if they improved on the quality of their food because I feel that this place definitely has potential.

Favourite Mexican Restaurant

I've been here several times and this place serves some really good food and I've always had a pleasant experience here. As a vegetarian, I am quite limited in my selections at most restaurants, but this place offers a few vegetarian options. The burrito is my favourite thing here. And the salsa and chips are just really delicious. For the margaritas, the raspberry one is quite sour but I really enjoyed the mango one. I had a virgin mango one, and personally I like their virgin ones better.

The service is usually pretty good here. It can get quite busy in the evening though. The ambiance is nice too. Not bad, but not amazing.

Paying for the ambiance.

A group of friends and I went to Chambar for a birthday gathering. Being a vegetarian, I ordered the Endive and Candied Nut salad which was just alright to me. I wasn't particularly fond of the dressing. I also ordered a side of fries after reading the reviews here and I have to say that I was not impressed. You get a tiny amount of fries for $6 and my boyfriend said that they tasted like store bought McCain fries, and I have to admit he was right.

My boyfriend ordered the Arctic char. He said it was good, but not worth $28 for the 2 X 2 piece he received.

Most of my table ordered the mussels and they were quite pleased with them. It was quite a generous portion compared to the restaurant's other dishes.

Our server was nice, but a bit cold in the beginning. They were also very quick to refill our water glasses and such. And my friend brought a birthday cake which they brought out and cut for us.

The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice. I suppose it was a tad loud, but the seating quarters are very close to one another as the restaurant seems to optimize all of it's floor space.

Overall, I feel that some items were worth the money paid and some, like the fries and Arctic Char were not worth the money. In this case, I would say that I was paying for a nice ambiance than satisfying food.
