Although the fish and chips is decent at best, it in no way compensates for the rude service. I live in the neighbourhood, and I know full well how long it takes between ordering my food and eating my food at Go fish. I naively thought a walk-around to this problem would be to call in and order through the phone (as their sandwich board sign says). Instead of ordering my food, I was greeted with "GO-FISH-GIVE ME 2 MINUTES.....BEEP" those 2 minutes turned into 5 minutes...10 minutes.... by this point I wondered which would be faster- walking to the shop or her picking up again. In short, I got there before she put me off hold, the egotistic ogre of a cashier lady had the audacity to make me pay full price for my food even after I explained I was the guy that's been on hold for the past 25 minutes. If I had a choice between Mcdonalds and this place, I'd pick Mcdonalds- at least I get decent service and reasonably priced food there- nor do I have to wait 35 minutes AFTER ORDERING for my food.
