So I decided to give this place a try because I had a 50% off coupon from the entertainment book, upon entering I was greeted by really friendly people who were willing to answer all my questions. I ordered a pretzel type bun for breakfast it had leeks, onions, potatoes and cheese it was really good. They don't have many tables I was lucky to get one that was available. They have so many pasteries, everything looked so fresh and mouthwatering. I will be coming back!
We went here for dessert, they have so many cupcakes to choose from. I felt like a kid in a candy store. My favorite is chocoholic, the girl behind the counter was really nice she accepted my 2 for 1 coupon without no problem. I had the root beer cupcake, a cheesecake one. Next time I wanna try the tiger ice cream cupcake. I will be back! The place reminded me of that tv show where they make such beautiful cupcakes. One normal sized cupcake is $3.30 with tax but totally worth it.
I went on a Monday my partner and I decided to check this place out because we had the 2 for 1 entertainment coupon, once arriving there at 6pm we were seated right away, our server was really nice and attentive. I guess it's better to go on a week night. I was kinda scared to go after reading such bad reviews for all 3 locations but after my experience I can only say good things. I am a vegetarian and they had so many vegetables there I loaded my bowl with bean sprouts, water chestnuts, bamboo, bok choy, baby corn, beans, carrots, celery, chick peas, scallions, red onions, tofu, thin noodles, and my partner had the meat bowl, his total was $11 and my bowl was full and it only cost around $14 I tried the garlic sauce on my bowl which the chef grilled. My partner wants to try the bison next time we go there and I will not load up on the noodles instead i will try different sauces, and but more tofu and beans in. Because they give you free soup, a choice of brown or white rice and wraps that's alot of carbs right there, I couldn't even finish the rice I took it home. The corn chowder is better than the sweet and spicy soup because my partner had a coughing fit after one sip of that. Next time we will both opt for corn chowder, brown rice and more meat for him and more vegetable protein for me. At the end of our me they gave us fortune cookies, I didn't know they had fortune cookies in Mongolia and they even serve Miso Soup which is more of a Japanese dish than Mongolian.I left happy and full and even had leftovers for the next day so I will be back.
I love to go to Fresgo Inn for cheesecake, which I can never finish. They have really good veggie burgers too! I took a friend here on Labour Day, he ordered a bacon cheese sandwich, while had a veggie burger, when he saw the size of my burger he wished he had gotten what I got. Also, the portion of yam fries that I got was huge and well worth the extra two bucks to upgrade. I will be going back again and again. Next time I will get my burger without mayo, I find it was a bit slippery, other than that I enjoyed everything.
A friend and went to this place on saturday, because we had the entertainment coupon for buy one entree get one free. The server was really nice, informative and accepted the coupon with no fuss. We opted for the veggie nutburger which neither of us had tried before. It came loaded with pickles, tomatoes, onions, sour cream and salsa is so healthy. Also, the side salad portion covered the side of the plate, it was really good salad greens with green pepper, onion, chick peas and sunflowers seeds. We left full and satisfied will definetly be going back.
The food is going downhill, we ordered palak paneer and shahi paneer with potato onion naan and rice. The rice was really good. The shahi paneer was alright and the palak paneer was bland no flavour at all. Also, the portions have gotten smaller. The prices for naan are sky-high over $3 for one potato naan is ridiculous. I left disappointed, left a tip because the service was good but the food wasn't.
I know this place may be a bit expensive than the other Indian restuarants located near by. But the food is worth the price. I ordered Palak paneer it cames with so many pieces of paneer and was thick and well flavoured. The garlic naan was soft and edible. My brother had the tandoori chicken which he enjoyed. The restuarant is pretty extravagant and worth a visit if you want to try high quality Indian food.
I just went there last night. This is a new place. They have middle eastern, Greek and Mexican food. The smoothies are delicious too. The owner was very friendly and the decor is nice. The place is very clean and has a patio. My favorite is the pita pizza they make before your eyes. I will be going back.
I went there on Boxing day around 7pm since all the other places were closed and about to be closed. I had no choice but to check this place out. I ordered a veggie burger with fries. Instead the server brought us veggie sandwiches on foccacia bread. The sandwiches were cheap looking (only had a small slice of camembert cheese, a cucumber slice, a grilled eggplant slice, and tons of butter and NO VEGGIE PATTY) and I could have stayed home and made a better tasting sandwich.
Also, it seemed like the cook took the fries and dumped a can of salt on them my friend didn't bother eating his fries, the appetizer was really disgusting too it was bruscetta with vinger and small tomato chunks. My friend and I have decided to never return to this place.
Considering the place has a lot of ESL students working under the table the service is pretty bad and they get your orders mixed up. They do not seem to care much about the customer. The pizza slices have decreased in size and they do not heat up the slices for you like most places do. So if your slice is cold you must eat it how it is.
Also it seems like they don't have enough room in the kitchen and they are more concerned with talking to eachother in Turkish than serving the customer.
This place has underaged girls dressed up like prostitutes. I don't need to have your cleavage in my face while i am eating thank you very much. What kind of a parent allows their teenage daughter to be degraded like that?
The food is overpriced I ordered a veggie burger and fries only to find out the bun was dry and the patty tasted like cardboard. They don't ask you how everything is and act like they are too pretty to break a nail and care about you. It's a great place for single guys who need eye candy but being a girl I don't want to go there.
The pizza is sometimes cold depending on how long it has been sitting in the window. I really enjoy the pesto pizza and the potato vegetarian pizza. I have brought my friends here on numerous occasions and will continue to do so.
The owner speaks 7 languages and makes an effort to connect with the customer. He is from montreal and knows how to make real poutine not of that heat and eat stuff you find at fast food restuarants.
Also, now they have falafel and middle eastern food here. There is a Lebanese chef that prepares food infront of the customer. This place is two restaurants in one. I get a free poutine every time i bring in a new customer.
Their vegetarian selection is limited they told a noodle dish was vegetarian so I ordered it only to find out later that it had small chunks of egg in it. I was horrified. Now I just order the stir fried vegetables.
It is a pretty elegant looking place. Very high class and you feel like you are in Asia. I've been here for birthdays and pre fireworks dinners. It's a nice affordable place.
I like the free bread and butter they give you and you can keep getting more bread. Also, a choice of ice cream or coffee is included if you ordered a main dish. My favorite is the Spumoni Ice Cream!
I had vegetarian lasagna, cheese bread and a cookie monster shake and i was impressed by the flavour all of these foods were great. However the salad was just a bunch of vegetables (carrots, lettuce, radish, and cabbage) thrown together not very well with presentation the downtown location has a better salad with spinach, apple and almonds.
Being from Delta I decided to go check this place out a few years back. I have no complaints, the donuts are fresh and always stocked. Unlike other franchises that turn you back and don't make fresh batches by the hour. This place is really cares about its customers.
I just love how they are hot and fresh so heavenly.
I went there only to find out everything is overpriced, and they do not have veggie burgers.
The server was not so friendly. I felt like I was doing her a favour by making conversation. The place does not having enough room to accomodate big parties. Also it feels like you are in the country side.
The food is alright, the rice is good, the spankopita is yummy, the greek salad is good and the potatoes are wonderful.
I don't like how the tables are so close to one another not much privacy and you feel like you can't talk loud.
The server was a nice Montreal Greek who spoke Greek as well. The music was nice and the ouzo candies got me high for a while.
This restaurant is really beautiful inside. Has a lot of really nice artwork. The people are friendly. The palak paneer is a little dry and hard to swallow. The channa masala and the naan are great they are so soft and delicious.
Also my brother loves the beef vindaloo and the paneer pakoras are so delightful and the spices are just right.
I went there on a Saturday night, it wasn't even packed. Still the waitress took forever to get us our food. She didn't seem that knowledgable about Greek food and was not friendly. When we ordered appetizers she was pushing us to order enterees even though we weren't in the mood for so much food. She was rude and acted like a high school prom queen. Our appetizers took an hour to arrive. On the menu it says the kalamari arrives with pita bread we didn't get any pita bread and when i asked the server about it she said the pita bread that arrived with my red pepper feta dip was the pita bread that was supposed to come with the kalamari. We didn't want to make a scene so we continued eating.
When we asked for refills it took her 20 minutes to get them. And then we had to wait 30 minutes just to get our bill. They ignore you for the longest time. I like the food but the service is the worst in the city.
I don't know how they make the palak paneer but i can never make it like that at home. Also, the paneer pakoras are yummy. I am a vegetarian and they have a huge selection of Chinese and Indian vegetarian dishes. I love the chow mein, pot stickers, channa masala, potatoes, naan and butter paneer.
I have been there numerous times, with friends, for birthdays and wedding parties.
