Two of us just had lunch there.
It took us awhile to decide what to eat .. the waiting staff were very patient with us.
We finally ordered two items from the dim sum selection .. green onions pancake and green pepper stuffed with shrimp. We also ordered the Singing Chicken(which the staff explained to us that it meant the sizzling noise made the serving dish is opened), rice and green tea.
We thoroughly enjoyed the food and service was great (as mentioned above they let us take our time to decide what to order even though the restaurant was full).
For weekday lunches I would recommend making a reservation .. which we had done even though it was for two of us.
One weak point was they don't have a Takeout menu and no web-site where you can peruse the menu so that it's easier to make a decision on what to eat.
Also the restaurant felt cold inside .. maybe because of the big windows which face the new Shangri-la Vancouver complex.

Went there about a month ago with hubby for a early dinner on Saturday night.
We had one of the deluxe meals .. the one with sweet corn soup with diced chicken, stir-fried shangai noddles with chicken and green beans with XO sauce, a vegetarian dish with mixed vegatables and vegetarian chicken and finished off with a mango pudding.
So much food we had that we took a doggy bag home ... it was strange though the portion we took away had shrunk in size from what was in serving dishes.
We thoughly enjoyed all of the food except for the vegetarian chicken which tasted rubbery and weird. Tea was filled up quickly.
However we had wait a bit for glasses of water and forks ... had to ask a few waiters before we got them.

Went there 3 weeks ago with 12 people.
Service was extremely slow .. maybe because it was full and on a Saturday night. Food was ok ... two of us had the Chicken Bento box(didn't feel well later in the weekend .. maybe the chicken was well cooked or the salad/california rolls weren't handled properly).
The others had All - You - Can -Eat .. don't think they ate enough for what they paid.
Definitely not going back there .. not worth the value of money even with the All - You - Can -Eat.

Finally we decided to try this place. Friends who had been there didn't like it.
Since we were both craving for spicy food ... so why not try it??
The owner/manager greeted us like we were long lost friends. We arrived there @ 6pm on a Friday ...
about 5 people were already and by 7:30pm(when we left) lots of people had come.
We ordered the fried aspagrus, mushroom and ped pods(hot and sour) and chicken with cashews.
Spice level = medium.
Tea and cold water were given immediately upon sitting down. Mins later we were told not aspagrus so it will be replaced by broocli.
The food arrived with a big bowl of jasmine rice ... shocked as most Asian restaurants give very little rice. Aha our spice craving for the night was satisified. Left-overs(except for the rice) was taken and finished for lunch the next day.
The staff were very attentive and filled our water glasses continously.
I still don't know why our friends didn't like this place ... maybe they don't like spicy food??
Well we are good back there.
