We were in Richmond and om our way back home to Delta we decided to syop over for a quick dinner. We were on a Steveston and pulled into the Irongate Plaza. Somehow we decided to visit the Browns Socialhouse. First impression was that the place was dark and very dim lighted.
Menu shocked us. There was hardly anything on it except burgers that would be eatable. We ordered pizza and was served in their own style which looked nothing like pizza. We did not even finished the dinner and after $45 in the hole we drove home cursing ourselves for making a poor choice to visit Browns Socialhouse. Never again... !!!
We had guests from UK and they were treated to a dinner at this place by North Vancouver resident. When we heard that people from North Vanc visits this restaurant. It made us curious and decided to try it out. On that stormy nite we went there dinner and the quality of food and service was way better than other indian restaurants we have been to. Food was so good that we have been to Desi Junctions twice in one week. So far so good.
Use to love going to this restaurant. Their Malai Chicken was out of this workd. But... for last three visits the taste and quality of food was way down. When we complaned the owner got rude and refuse to serve us. The owner has a bad attitude !!!! Service is average. Yje restaurant has bad health inspection reviews too.
We usually go to this restaurant for lunch and only on Thursdays when they have chicken bhuna on special. Once went there for dinner and was very disappointing. Place was virtually empty. The restaurant is average, food is JUST ok.There is no consistency at all. Owner is a bit annoying and can be irritable. Location is good.
We had a craving for a decent Indian meal and drove through the snow to this restaurant. It was pretty empty. Seemed like it is being run by young couple. Service was bad and to add insult the food was uneatable. Nans were hard and burnt.
The curry we ordered had a bad show to it and was unedible. Chicken tikka was hard too. We paid the bill and swore never to come back.
