The food that Geoff Lundlow creates is fantastic. Some of the dishes forces the average person (like me) out of their comfort zone, like elk or duck. It was well worth it. It's service with a smile. Super friendly ... and Geoff the chef and owner, will come out to visit the odd table and see how they are doing. Nice touch! I'd go back.
For a Tues night this place was busy. The service was a teensy bit slow, but our server explained the reason and apologized. The food - Brushetta - WOW!, the warm Chocolate desert WOW! The Halibut and Crab - Good but not over the top! Our bill came to $107 before tip. Not bad for a fine dining experience.
It looks as though this is a place to pack full of 25 to 30 year olds on a Thur/Fri/Sat night. The martinis are reasonably priced compared to the $10 or $12 you'd pay at Brown's. The food was good and again reasonably priced. The YAM's are fantastic. The service was good. The ambiance is ok, it was too industrial and DIY looking. Overall, I thought it was all good.
We had a late lunch at Bella Candela, so we were the only 2 people in the restaurant. The server was wonderful. It looks like a great restaurant to go to for drinks after work. I'm sure it's packed on a Thurs or Fri night. We had a pizza and it was fantastic.
