I know this place keeps busy from the local businesses for lunch. I've eaten there on a few occasions and the food is OK. I wouldn't say the food is anything special. But today was a major disappointment. I ordered one of the lunch specials which was a grilled panini and caesar salad. Since when does a panini consist of one layer of salami, brown lettuce and mayo? Disgusting! For $9 you would expect a hearty sandwich with a few layers of meat and cheese and fresh toppings. Then I noticed a $2 charge for the salad but I thought that was part of the special. A little misleading. My colleagues weren't raving about their pasta either. The sandwich was disgusting and I won't be back. Normally I would have spoken up but we were lost in conversation and I couldn't be bothered. Total bill with coffee and tip was over $15 for a measly panini! Major rip off.

Three of us went for a late lunch one afternoon. Major disappointment. Alfredo sauce was strange tasting and had way too much nutmeg. Way too much! Made it really sweet. We mentioned it to the waitress and she didn't really care that we were not satisfied with our meal. None of us finished our food. Overpriced and really not good. Will not return. Too bad. Used to love the place.

We had dim sum at Lux yesterday. First of all, the shrimp dumplings were "off". Definitely starting to rot. They tasted funny and I had to spit it out. The other dumplings did not taste fresh either. Really disturbed that they would serve food that is starting to go bad. This was our 3rd visit and each time the food quality went down. Will not return again. It's pretty odd that everyone else in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying their food. No taste buds I guess. The Vietnamese place in the same strip mall is excellent.
