My boyfriend and I have been to Raglans quite a few times and are always impressed with the food and he loves how they usually play surf videos. Tonight we had a horrible experience. We went on a very busy night and were ultimately ignored while all of our server's attention seemed to be on larger parties. We each would have liked to have had more than one drink, or at least a refill of water but that never happened. After waiting 25 minutes for my food to come out, I slowly ate it waiting for my boyfriend's meal to come out. That never happened either. Another 25 minutes went by waiting for her to come and check on us but she never seemed to be around. It would have been great to have eaten our meals together which is why we went out in the first place. I got up and asked about his food myself. It was never made and she dealt with the situation poorly. Instead of coming over to talk or properly apologize she quickly asked him if he still wanted it. The few times she DID come to the table (to take our drink order, drop them off, and take our food order) lasted no longer than 30 seconds in which she quickly darted off before we could finish our sentence. Not wanting to wait another 50+ minutes to eat he said "no". She then came back and asked him if he wanted a "beef burger on the house" which was almost ready and asked if he wanted anything on it. Willing to eat anything at this point, he said "yes" and obviously after ordering a deluxe burger, one could assume he wanted something on it but she didn't give him the opportunity to say what. She then quickly ran away again, dropped off the beef burger - with fries when he initially ordered salad with his meal. As soon as he was finished, she couldn't get us out faster. She came by to drop off the bill, half-heartedly said she was sorry and ran away before the bill hit the table. If it weren't for past experiences and great food, neither of us would go back or recommend it to anyone. That being said, it probably won't be for a while and definitely not while she's working.
