Great hole in the wall
Submitted Friday, March 19, 2010 - 10:53am [Dine in]

I love this place - it is everything a hole-in-the wall should be.

Cheap food, good quality, and put together like a ransom note. The staff are friendly and it is tucked away in a little strip mall just off of #3 road.

Great value - good prices - need I say more? I used them for a party platter and half of my friends commented on how good the sushi was - and did I mention it was cheap?

The place is busy enough that it has enough turnover such that the food is always fresh.

I stop by everytime I am in richmond.

Not a bad place
Submitted Friday, March 19, 2010 - 10:41am [Dine in]

Believe it or not I can't find a cheap mom and pop greek place.

Tried this one out and I would go back, although the lamb was a bit dry and the value was ok, not bad, but only ok. They do give plenty of rice and their greek salad was the best one I ever had - not sure what they do to it.

Over all - yeah, try it out, but I am curious if there is a better place around.

My favorite chinese place
Submitted Friday, March 19, 2010 - 10:38am [Dine in]

Some people might be saying to themselves, "Hons isn't real chinese food" ... I heard that in the past but who cares, I can't comment on if it is or not - it is great.

The must haves are the Pot stickers, and the Mushu Pork wraps, I've tried other things and was pleased with the selection each time. Despite the craziness in the restaurant service is always fast and friendly.

Again, you go to a place like this for the food - the ambiance is lacking in some regards, but it adds to the charm and the experience. I have been to the Coquitlam, Richmond, and Vancouver locations and the food seemed to be the same at all of them and once you are inside you don't really know where you are since they look the same as well.

Great food, great value, must try.

I love this place

I have been eating here for the last ten years - back when I was a young pup and needed food after hitting the bars - and then when I lived around the corner.

Their roast lamb is the best and the portion sizes and prices provide great value. The sunrise pizza is a winner as well. Over all I would say that there aren't enough Mom & Pa good restaurants in Vancouver (GVRD) this is definitely one of them.

You go for the food and the value - but the ambiance and service is great too. They even had a very cute brunette waitress!!!

One of my favorite in vancouver

Had fun and good food
Submitted Friday, March 19, 2010 - 10:29am [Dine in]

Great food here - I enjoyed the tandoori chicken and the curried spinach dish with cubes of indian cheese. It was so good. I followed advice and had the garlic naan which was delicious.

For drinks I enjoyed a manjo yogurt smoothie - it was great especially with the heat from the tandoori chicken, a nice combo.

Only complaints, parking isn't free but there is free 20 minute parking stalls and I parked for an hour without any problems - it was a saturday night.

I would go back!!!
