Great Value

This family run restaurant is easy to miss if you don't know it's there. You choose your soup. I think there are 4 or more varieties including curry flavored, fish, and homemade. Then you choose the type of protein which might be seafood or beef. The ordered meal consists of the soup, meat and vegetables in a hot pot with a side dish of one of 3 types of noodles of your choice. All for a very reasonable price. There are other things on the menu but the best deal is the hotpot soup and noodles. It's definitely worth a visit.

Cheap Lunch
Submitted Friday, August 27, 2010 - 4:20pm [Dine in]

We ordered a wonton noodle soup and beef brisket on egg noodle and it cost us $10 tip included and was enough lunch for 2 people. The won ton noodle soup serving was smaller than what you would get at other won ton restaurants but was enough for anyone with a light appetite and only cost $2.95. The beef brisket on fried noodles was a bit greasy but not bad for the cheap price.
The turn off was that after the waiter wiped off our table before we sat down it smelled horribly like mildew.
We had to pour some of our hot tea on to the table and rewipe it ourselves. The restaurant needs a good cleaning.

An Okay Experience
Submitted Wednesday, June 24, 2009 - 4:44pm [Dine in]

We had a Father's day dinner at the Keg. The prices of the entrees were slightly over priced for what we ate. I don't mind paying if the food is prepared well. The chicken and seafood entree I had was extremely salty. Someone else had the Teriyaki chicken entree which was dry and overcooked. A couple of the others in my party had the prime rib dinner which included a salad, vegetables and rice. They commented that the prime rib was satisfactory. It seems the best deal here is to order one of the complete dinners but unfortunately they only include beef and not chicken or seafood. I guess this is to be expected as this is a steakhouse. The service was nothing to complain about. Our waitress was polite and prompt with our requests.
