It was happy time
Submitted Friday, January 11, 2008 - 8:11am [Dine in]

We went to Joey's on a Thursday night, not too busy, not empty either. The host at front was very friendly, although we didn't recognize her as the host at first. Atmosphere was right, music was not too loud. Food! we ordered the California Sushi Taco, Blazing Wings and Roasted Chicken Pesto Quesadilla. All of them were awesome. Fries was different, but very tasty. All were nicely presented. and I loved the bill at the end, not big at all. We all agree that we will definitely go there again soon.

Yeah, I'd take a friend there
Submitted Wednesday, January 9, 2008 - 12:01pm [Dine in]

A friend and I were looking for a nice place to dine and chat on broadway. When we were reading the memu outside this lady told us Olympia is the best restautrant that you can find on broadway. She went in and had take outs. And we went in and saw this cozy place with nice candle lights on every table. Suits our moods perfectly. We ordered calamari to start, it was tender and not greasy at all. I ordered the large baked lasagna and it was a size that could feed 3. My friend had the lamb curry i think, it was the size that could feed 4! anyway, food was awesome. Service on the other hand was just okay. Lady who served us had a little attitude. (why?) but overall, I'd love to bring my friends there, especially the once that I want to chat with for the whole night.

Ok for a sushi crave
Submitted Wednesday, January 9, 2008 - 11:13am [Dine in]

I've been to this place so many times ever since I moved to Vancouver in 2002(?). It's AYCE. so of course it doesn't servce the best Japanese food. But it's good enough for a quick sushi crave. I love the food, epecially for lunch and late night, it's so cheap people! If you go to a food court and order a wrap, it's almost about the same price already. Service is not too bad either, sometimes they miss a few items but if you ask again, they always bring it over, no small talks or attitudes. The only thing that bothers me is probably just their space. So small, too small. I hate tiny tables for AYCE! Anyway, overall, i'm going back again and again to this place.
