This restaurant has all the key elements to good dining! I go here almost every week cuz i appreciate the service and the quality of the food. Even the chef is willing to lend a hand at serving the food at peak times. My favorite would be Mee-Goreng! Excellent dish to have for lunch coupled with a chicken-corn soup to start. The lunch specials are great too! Pork and beans is my pick (yes it tastes better than it sounds). Overall its an excellent restaurant and well balanced! Give it a try! Happy Dining!

Well this was our first and unfortunately last experience we will have at this restaurant. Let's start with the food, everything seemed decent and at par relative to other Japanese restaurants. For the price and quality its acceptable compared to its neighboring restaurants. However take out may be a better choice as the restaurant cleanliness is just bearable, hope its better in the kitchen. Now to the real issue I had with this restaurant was service. Working in a customer-service oriented field, I know this is if not half or more of a business's sucess. All I can say is CHECK YOUR ORDER when you recieve it. Apparently, a friend of mine had his issue too, but they tend to adjust / replace your order with something else if they run out of stock of a particular item. For example tonight I ordered the "Deluxe Assorted Sushi Combo" and I am quite familiar with what was offered on that order. When the order arrived, I noticed the scallop sushi was replaced with a sockeye salmon nigiri sushi. I asked the server, where's the scallop piece and she said "oh we replaced it with sockeye b/c we ran out of scallop sushi" Then i was ok nevermind its just one piece. Then i realized something was really wrong and that all the more "expensive" pieces of nigiri sushi (5 others) we're replaced with the general salmon or tuna nigiri sushi pieces. Then I waved the waitress down and explained what was wrong and she said if things aren't fresh they tend to replace it with others. Well isn't that nice to know you guys do that, at least warn the customer beforehand!!!!! She then offered to have the order corrected. Now remember she said the scallop sushi was out of stock right? When the corrected order came back, the scallop sushi "magically appeared" Ok, so not only has the chef done something wrong, the server lied to us too. And what was more frustrating was the table across us, who we're Japanese, had scallop sushi served to them after our order! So what was that suppose to mean? They went scallop hunting off the pacific in 10 minutes?? Perhaps they're taking that we don't know what we're eating and just replace it with the stereotypical salmon or tuna sushi? After the replacement came, they still didn't replace one of the pieces correctly (gave us a piece of tai nigiri for a hamachi nigiri-more money). Ding ding! u guessed! We're not goin back just b/c of the service / dishonesty, and for those who insist on going there, please CHECK YOUR ORDER! I'm usually too lazy to write reviews, but doin this to protect others out there! Thank you and happy dining!
